I have been taking my vehicles to Silverlake for over 6 years. I have never had and issue. Fair, friendly, and trustworthy service and repair.

Tire went flat (nail) and they said to replace the same tire would be $250 mounted and balanced. The same tire I could find online was between $100-$119. All I was told was what they couldn't do for me, couldn't help offset any cost or mount and balance for free or a discount. I'm just at a loss at why there is such a mark up. Went to Discount Tire in Hayden and they quoted $650 for a whole new set of 4 of the same tire so why just under half the price for one?? Edit- Fred contacted me and expressed that I was misquoted. He offered reconciliation in the form of a correct quote and free mount and balance but I already had the work done. We had been loyal customers for some time and it is unfortunate that only after a negative review could we get any help extended to us.

I used to love this place and the service I got but my recent experience leaves something to be desired. I was told that my appointment would last 60-90 minutes long and that when it was done, I would be called. Just under two hours later I called to see what the hold up was since I needed to pick up my son and they informed me it had been done for a while. Upon getting in my vehicle, I notice my window was rolled down. No one informed me that this would happen and I couldn't get it back up (it was off the track previously). They "fixed" it but before I left the parking lot, it fell back down. They insist rolling it down was policy but I know rolling it back up is too. Clearly, they hoped I wouldn't notice. We are not coming back if we ever have the choice to. The dishonesty there was ridiculous.
