Went here after our car was making weird sounds. The staff was super friendly and immediately diagnosed the problem. Since it was such a simple fix they even fixed it right away and even did it for free! Office was great too with free wifi, donuts, and beverages. Great place to know about especially since we are from out of town. If we need any more car care we will definitely be back!

We stopped in this shop after seeing the reviews on google and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and helped us immediately identify the problem and even fixed it for free. Other places may have made us wait or charged us a diagnostic fee but since it was an easy fix he took care of it right away. Being from out of town it is good to know that there is such a good garage in CDA! They also had free donuts, coffee, and soda. Even had wifi!

If you own a Jeep Liberty, don't bring your car here. My jeep had a broken radiator but did not overheat. After these guys were done "fixing" it, it immediately started overheating and these dumbasses said they didnt know why. I couldnt drive for two weeks until I found a REAL mechanic who discovered that these idiots put my thermostat in backwards, TWICE. If these people cant even put a thermostat in a jeep liberty (a very common car around here) I dont know how theyre still in business. And they overcharge. Save yourself some bullshit and DONT GO HERE

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced in this situation. A full refund for the thermostat and installation was issued immediately after the incident in July 2015.

I promised these nice folks I'd leave a review after they replaced my timing belt a couple of months ago. In true derp fashion, I forgot.I remembered my error tonight on the way home from work when my dashboard display started going wonky, the underlying cause of which, I'm hoping, won't be difficult to fix when I bring my car in again tomorrow.Anyhoo, I moved here in March 2016 and knew I'd eventually have to find a shop where I could establish a long-term relationship. It was pretty nerve-wracking having a major repair on my first visit, but they took great care of me and my car.The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I never do on a first visit *anywhere*. In spirit, however, they get five stars (I wouldn't be taking my car back to them if I didn't have faith in their work.)

Silverlake Auto did an excellent job of helping me get new tires on my car. They were able to very quickly get the tires I needed that same day, and got them mounted and installed. Silverlake's attention to customers is excellent

While we were on our vacation my Excursion started making a loud noise during AC use. We were over 1700 miles away from any mechanic shop that we had any experience with doing repairs. I had called two Ford dealerships and explained the situation and that we planned to leave on Sunday and this was on a Friday. I heard the standard line of we can't look at it until Monday and if we need parts it will have to come from our parts hub, so overnight shipping. I then found Silverlake Automotive on Google. It had a 4.9 out of 5.0 rating, I drove to the shop and spoke with Fred. He came out and looked at the vehicle. He checked on the parts and said he could get the parts and have it done by Monday. After some thought I returned and asked him to fix the vehicle. The AC compressor seized up when we pulled in again. Fred assisted in arranging a rental car for the weekend. They were outstanding and friendly. It was about 2 pm. I had planned on the call from Fred on Monday, when I received a phone call at 6:20 pm Friday night. He informed me that the vehicle was done and they were recharging the AC as we speak. I returned to his shop around 6:45, well past their 5:30 closing. We picked up the truck, received a discount and left for home that weekend. I drove 1700 plus miles in mid ninety degree weather and the AC worked perfectly. I would highly recommend this auto shop to anyone. They were honest, friendly and very helpful. Thank to everybody at Silverlake Automotive.

Great service! My car broke down memorial day weekend and they got me back on the road as soon as they could without the BS and a full list of what appeared to need attention. Will be recommending to others!

I picked up my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee today. I had a broken steering box--it broke in two when they were driving it into the service Bay. (had to use a 'dolly' to move it the last few feet. Fred Meyer was very thorough in his description of the problem and the solution. My 21 year old Jeep drives like NEW now. I highly recommend Silver Lake Automotive. Time to plan another ROAD TRIP. (Last April I drove over 11k miles around America.) Maybe Alaska this Summer. Thanks Fred and Crew. I will be back for all of my vehicle needs. A very satisfied customer--Carmon.

Great Experience! We called in the morning and they were able to get our vehicle in that day. They provided us with a worse case scenario price so that there would be no surprises. The price was fair and the service was very professional. We will definitely be back.

I would highly recommend these guys. Very friendly and don't try scamming you into spending more money than needed. A few days have gone by and I haven't had any problems. I will be returning
