I took my vehicle in to have the AC checked out, hoping it would only need to be charged. The staff here are very knowledgeable and are problem solvers. The car needed more work than initially anticipated, but it all made sense. Work was done in a timely matter and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to and understand. Will definitely be going back when needed!

I was headed home to Lewiston Id when my car started running rough and the check engine light came on so I returned to CDA and stayed the night with my daughter, The next morning I phoned around to get service and all except Silverlake Auto told me they were several days out to be able to help me. Silverlake's service rep told me to bring it in and they would try to work it in for a check and that afternoon they had the problem identified. They told me they would have the car ready by noon on Monday. I picked the car up Monday PM and returned home, the car ran perfectly going home and every since.

They did everything I asked for. They only charged me for work that needed to be done. The employee Ryan drove out of his way to make sure their work was done and my vehicle operated properly. They even gave me a veteran's discount! I would and will use their services any time. Excellent!

Horrible company! Highly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere. The manager Julia is a liar and the regional manager Fred is highly unprofessional and very rude. We took our car into them because of a serious brake issue and it was also running bad coming from somewhere in the engine. We have an extended warranty on our vehicle and took in all the paperwork clearly stating what is covered. Julia told us our car is misfiring and that it would need new coils and spark plugs and that her technician couldn't exactly find what was going on with the brakes even though when I drive it the brakes end up going all the way to the floor and I start rolling which is very unsafe. She said she called and spoke with warranty and that our vehicle was not covered. We came and picked the vehicle up and I called the warranty department myself and they verified with me that our vehicle is covered and that she NEVER even called them. Wow! When I called back and asked Julia why she lied about talking with the warranty department she flat out said she just got too busy and dropped the ball. I was highly surprised when I asked to speak to the manager and Julia said she is the manager. Our vehicle is now at Dodge and they are saying there’s no issues with the coils or spark plugs so on top of lying about warranty they also misdiagnosed our vehicles issue. When I spoke with Fred the regional manager he said he would have a conversation with Julia and use this as a training experience... hmmm. She needs to be fired or at least dropped down in position. Fred also needs to be removed from his position. He was extremely rude! Treating customers this way is wrong!

I just returned from the Silver Lake Automotive facility on Hanley Avenue. I had set up an appointment for 8 this morning and dropped the vehicle off on time. At 10 this morning, I returned to check on.the vehicle as I hadn't heard from them and it hadn't been moved. I went in to find out what was going on and asked what was the point of having an appointment. I was told that "it saves me a bay". OBVIOUSLY NOT" I retrieved my keys and left. Apparently, my time is meaningless at this place of business. Is yours? Update: I spoke with one of the owners, [Julia] and she said that this will be addressed.
